Owensboro Catholic Radio is preparing for its upcoming Spring Radiothon which will take place Wednesday, April 25th through Friday, April 27th.
As a listener supported station, Owensboro Catholic Radio relies on your help to stay on the air. By your support and the support of other faithful Catholics, countless souls are being reached with the saving message of Christ’s love. Your donations keep our station in operation and allow us to maintain our signal and provide Orthodox and quality programming.
One of the most crucial parts to a successful fund drive is challenge gift pledges. A challenge gift is a pledge to match donations dollar for dollar during the Radiothon.
So, if you pledge a $200 challenge gift now. During the Radiothon, we will advertize this challenge. If WIMM listeners donate the whole sum of $200, then you will match the $200 and WIMM will recieve a total of $400. If the WIMM listeners only donate $100, then you will only match $100, and WIMM will recieve a total of $200.
When listeners know their gifts are being matched, they are motivated to pick up the phone and pledge.
I am writing to request that you consider making a challenge gift pledge in preparation for the upcoming pledge drive. By donating to a special challenge fund, you will directly multiply the funds our station raises.
