The 2011 Catholic Radiothon has now concluded. We are happy to report that we met our goals and exceeded our 2010 level of support!
Owensboro Catholic Radio would like to offer a hearty Thank You to all those who supported WIMM both financially and with prayers!
Those who donated by credit card should have received a thank you letter along with your complimentary CD copy of The Holy Rosary recorded by Bishop Medley and the OCS students. For those who pledged by phone, by now you should have received the same plus a self-addressed envelope to mail your check. If you pledged or donated and have not received any mail from us, please email us at manager@wimmradio.com.
As mentioned previously, the proceeds of the 2011 radiothon will go toward the construction of a new tower to be built at the Carmel Home. This tower should double our potential listening audience! After the move, our signal should be as strong as any commercial signal inside the city limits!
At this point, we are very close to receiving final approval for our project. If everything goes as planned, the tower will be constructed sometime mid-summer.
